LEGGOOO!

Chris Brown aside, Legos will never be topped as one of my favorite... activities, i guess? They're probably the most creative toys for little kids and can translate exactly the same way (with just as much fun) for adults. (i'm pretty sure i'm still in the kid category regardless) Between my obvious love for legos & Natasha's brain power, a multi-colored, yet strictly patterned Lego Side Table is going in our living room. Not only does this save us money on a real table, but it adds in the perfect green we want in the room that matches our mirror on the wall by it. The mirror was a great find at HomeGoods, which is always a great place for moderately priced "vintage" looking furniture. Everything always has a great homey feeling to it. Now on to picking the design for it... and actually putting it together... CAN NOT WAIT!

Inspiration: Bedroom (step 1)

With a previously hot pink, obnoxiously Jersey bedroom in both NJ AND Philly, it's time for an upgrade. Finally allowed to paint the walls in the new apartment so first thought is always color palette. With our super modern, geometric, and organized (I OCD so its going to be wonderful) plans for the living room, I think i'll mix it up and go for a more romantic, relaxing bedroom.

A coral pink and aqua (although super trendy) always catch my eye as both a soothing combo and something that masters a laid-back country feel & an exciting, bright pop at the same time. Thanks to my new obsession of a blog, Lovely Clusters (thanks to Emily for the finding), the color-way just seems to be better and better. Now on to what walls I paint what colors...

And it begins...

Give a few design college students their own apartments and the adventure is only beginning.
With budgets in mind, creating all different rooms with entirely different aesthetics becomes an art project.
Modern to romantic, bright to calming, crazy to subtle... these rooms are going to be nothing short of amazing, as well as entirely different.
Follow us as we take on decorating two different apartments and four separate bedrooms and all the space in between.

(not ours, but i'd die for this adorable kitchen)
